Week 10 Fantasy Preview

I had to take a couple weeks off with the Phils and some other craziness going on in my life, but I am back now bitches like bell-bottoms and all you suckers better beware. (Iguess that’s what happens when I listen to old-school rap before I start writing) The season is through the feeling out part and we should have SOME idea of what is going on and how things are looking for the stretch run!!

STARTS
QB
Matt Ryan- This year has been up and down for the kid. This week will be an up week. He throws 3 td’s and goes over 300 yards. A sophomore has his slumps but this is not one of those. He puts up numbers against the Panthers and you’ll be happy you’ll play him.
Kyle Orton- I called him a Sleeper coming into the year and this will be another week he proves me right. He has had a few bad weeks lately, but Washington is the cure to Orton’s recent sickness!!
RB
Steven Jackson- PLEASE don’t look at his team’s record. Steven is a stud player who just happens to play on a bad team and gets no help what so ever. He is steady and will have a very good week this one!!!
Joseph Addai- He is not the top 5 back he once was but he is gaining momentum and it looks like Donald Brown just may have lit that fire under his ass that he needed.
WR
Jeremy Maclin- I know he had a bad week last week but Reid and the gang like to go back to the person that had it tough to keep their confidence up. I don’t know if my Birds win this weekend, btu I know they score points and I am calling for 4 td’s through the air!!
Eddie Royal- Marshall has had another outstanding year but this is the week Royal breaks out with a long TD and 150 in receiving. Come on, anyone can tell ya Reggie Wayne is having a big week, but it takes balls to call on Maclin and Royal to produce!!! Thank me when you win!
TE
Brandon Pettigrew- He had a big week last week and I think he continues this week with some nice numbers. It’s a bit of a reach but he and Stafford look like they are getting some chemistry and when CJ comes back they just might have a semblance of an offense!!

Keep em on the bench!
QB
Jason Campbell- Don’t get excited because they are playing a team that has been blown out the past 2 weeks. If you haven’t cut Campbell you’re missing the boat- but keep him buried either way.
Brady Quinn- If you kept him not only are you crazy but you need help. Quinn might be good some day but it is gonna be this year. Keep him seated.
RB
Brian Westbrook- The end has begun for one of my favorite all-time Eagles. He may contribute as a player but his days as a Fantasy Stud are far gone. Keep him on the pine.
Kevin Smith- He’s a little banged up and going against the stout Vikings D with the Williams Clan manning the middle. You should probably have a better option on the bench.
WR
Jericho Cotchery- He is still a good player but the clock has struck 12 on Sanchez and it’s hard to catch TD’s from a pumpkin!
TO- I am sure you know that but I just like saying it. He ruined a year for me and even though he made one year I will never forgive him!!!

Pick-up/Waiver Moves
QB- BRADY QUINN- I know I said sit the guy, but if you’re looking to make a move that COULD pay decent dividends in the future
VINCE YOUNG- He is trying to stake his claim for the job next year. Especially if you’re in a league that scores more for rushing TD’s and also rewards rushing yards from a QB he may be your guy.
RB- LADELL BETTS- He’s probably already gone but if he’s around you gotta add the guy. Portis will miss at least 2 weeks and Betts has proven to be adequate in the past as a fill-in.
DARREN MCFADDEN- He’s got the talent and he should be 100% healthy so if you have an open spot where you’re lookin for high rate high return.
WR- MIKE WALLACE- If he’s available in your league you should grab him. I know he’s the third guy there but believe me he’s better than the #1 on some teams.
ROBERT MEACHEM- This former #1 pick seems to be coming into his own. Colston is the #1 without a doubt there but he can put up some numbers for you!!
SUICIDE TEAM

It is going on late in the year so the pickins are a little tougher than they were. Now is the time where you find out if your strategy has panned out and if you cash or trash!!!
QB Kurt Warner
RB Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles
WR Marques Colston, Brandon Marshall
TE Antonio Gates
K Steven Gotskowski
