Could Be Yours!

NFL Morning Headlines 11/12/09

Well, well, well, could it be true? Is Wade Phillips actually doing a good enough job to earn the media/fan trust that has been slim to none in his tenure? Jean-Jacques Taylor of the Dallas Morning News thinks so.

Calling all Browns fans… Brady Quinn has been having good weeks of practice since being benched! You know what that means, he’s back as QB 1, and your team is still garbage.

It took Steelers coach Mike Tomlin embarrassing him in the media to light a fire under RB Rashard Mendenhall, but wow, it’s working.

If you play as good as Chris Johnson does, you can celebrate anyway you want as far as I’m concerned.

The Arizona Cardinals are walking the thin line of being blacked-out Sunday.

Don’t you love it when a coach covers for his team when he is blatantly not the problem? Even if his defense was garbage, quarterback mediocre and star-running back nonexistent. Okay.

If Lovie Smith doesn’t enter tonight’s game as if he has the Sears (Willis) Tower on his shoulders, it would be all the more reason to fire him. Regardless, the stakes are high.
