Being Mark Sanchez is not a bad thing.
In a move that has surprised only Kellen Clemens and his mother, Rex Ryan has named rookie Mark Sanchez the Jets permanent starting quarterback. The 22 year old from USC will be the first rookie quarterback to start for the Jets in over 20 years. Sanchez will play the majority of the Jets preseason game versus the Giants on Saturday then start the opener against the Houston Texans.
